A meaningful march
Lives shattered by phone use while driving, immortalized.
The use of phones is a growing cause of road accidents. It not only involves those behind the wheel but also their loved ones on the other end of the line.
How can we raise awareness and alert the public to the dramatic consequences of using phones while driving?
OVAL decided to launch a unique and impactful initiative:
“Shattered Lives,” an artistic exhibition created in collaboration with artist Simon Berger.
This communication taps into the daily lives of French citizens to inspire behavioral change through art.
The campaign
For real.
Hypnotic portraits
We produced five monumental smartphones (2.5 meters high) and installed them at Place de la République in Paris to showcase this artistic exhibition.
The artist revealed, by breaking the glass with his hammer, the faces of road accident victims, struck down in the middle of a conversation.
These intense portraits in shattered glass, displayed on the smartphones, instantly evoke the impact of the crash, the shattering windshields, and the lives forever changed.
The exhibition was open to the public for 10 days, offering a groundbreaking prevention campaign.
10 Years of Collaboration, 10 Awards
We had the honor of seeing our campaign recognized with 10 awards at the Club des DA, Com-Ent, and the Best Event Award Global (Most Creative Award and Special Press Award). This recognition celebrates 10 years of collaboration between OVAL and Road Safety.
