Campaign against online investment fraud

Online investment fraud continues to rise at an alarming pace. In the first half of 2025 alone, Belgians lost nearly €15 million to fake platforms promising fast profits and guaranteed returns. To expose that temptation, OVAL created an awareness campaign for the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium with a recognisable face: Bill.


Bill is the gullible big spender who lets his own FOMO take over, until one single click costs him everything. With humour, empathy and a clear warning, the campaign drives home a simple truth: if something online seems too good to be true, it probably is.
